What’s a Balor?

Autocorrect wouldn’t even fill it in!

I wouldn’t count the Texas win as top rank however it’s of more significance since the win is almost at end of season

I'm surprised Baylor scheduled UTSA after the roadrunners kicked the shite out of them 2 years ago.

Even Kellen Mond has a higher QBR than Baylor's QB. And that's even including games against Clemson, Bama, and Auburn.

If that's the case, you should literally never argue that you beat a ranked opponent unless it's Week 13 or 14 against a top 20 or top 15 team - by your own standards.

Okay I don’t; beating Aggy when they are top 12 every year at week one should NEVER count

I think the Conference championship games need to go away.
They serve no purpose.
SEC should add a 9th conference game and then Bama might actually have to play Georgia or Florida from the east once in a blue moon.

That’s because they’d beat you, and probably Oklahoma too

NINER, not understanding your point. By seasons end, ranked wins change. I am going by current weeks ranked wins. Not “time of” rankings which is completely rigged and dumb

If the SEC should have to play more conference games in order to make our schedules more difficult, then Big 12 teams should be forced to play fewer conference games in order to also make their schedules more difficult.

At least we agree on something.

That's my point. If you think claiming ranked wins before the season is over (today) is rigged and dumb, why are you doing it now when the rankings will absolutely be different at seasons end? Kansas State, and Oklahoma State for that matter, may not even be ranked by that point.

Your standards, not mine.

The SEC will not go to nine games because

1. A certain school has to play its November cupcake
2. We HAVE to have permanent cross division opponents because of....tradition
3. If we did go to nine games LSU would get stuck with Georgia as a permanent opponent and Bama would get Vandy.

Until those things can be worked out, we will stay with eight games.

No you use data that is known NOW.

Otherwise you don’t have rankings until all games are played. Your logic is flawed

What are you actually talking about?

The Big 12 is so inferior to the SEC, the desperately cling to talking points, regardless of how stupid they are. One of those talking points is less conference games, although they still had that talking points when the Big 12, and the SEC Champ/runner-up played 9 games, same as the Big 12.

Honestly, the SEC should go down to 7 conference games and play one more out of conference game. It would increase all our records and hurt the other conferences.
