They seem to have penis envy from not being included.

A&M seems to really crave attention

Clemson loses 46% of it's tackles from last year and 71% of it's sacks.

I am not worried about replacing sacks - we are probably more athletic overall vs last year. The only thing that remains to be seen with our DEs will be how they hold up against the run on early downs.

At DT we are not replacing the same level of talent. Wilkins and Lawrence is the best DT combo Clemson has ever fielded. We have some young talent that will take time to develop and some top tier studs coming in next year.

To show that it is an article from a publication and not his own thoughts?

That certainly matters but we're replacing four absolute NFL guys with four inexperienced guys.

I have more confidence in Oklahoma replacing Oline guys than Florida. Conversely, I have more confidence in Florida replacing defensive guys than Oklahoma.

That might not be an accurate way of looking at things or a fair way. It just seems like Oklahoma reloads on offense and Florida reloads on defense.

I agree with all of this, actually. Correct is correct. Remains to be seen what the new Defensive staff can do but that's the way it is until proven otherwise.

What a strange thing to beat your chest about. Over the last 5 seasons the amount of teams replacing all 5 of their top receivers has to be minuscule.

Exact thing I thought. Are we even sure that there’s been one instance of this?

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Never has a team made the Playoff when replacing the top 5 receivers from the previous season

I agree on the possible weakness but the comparison point is random. Its not like the playoffs have been around for decades. we are talking 5 years worth of data points but whatever

Have College FB writers always been this fricking lazy? I've been reading some of the most shallow, copypasta articles this offseason.

Yes. Across the board. You're lucky if it's even spelled correctly these days but they are lazy and jump on board with just retread generic topics of the same player or teams. It's bad.

This is one of those cases where returning their defense is a bad thing. OU's defense is historically bad.

That defense is mostly blue chip players that were recruited by most SEC teams, so it will be interesting to see how they do in a real system not designed by Mike stoops. The best news is they can’t get any WORSE, and OU with even an average defense would win an NC.
