1st off, that was balsy of him...and even more ruthless when they converted.

BAMA won, & they beat us..but we still had a chance, until the very end to tie or even win..but no qualms..we didn't play well enough to deserve it..

I just wanna be that guy that points out..if they miss those any of those 4th downs...especially the last 2...damn good chance Mizzou wins it...and he would be getting ripped IN TUSCALOOSA . No mercy, that would have been 6 losses away from Bryant Denney. And they were passes or tosses...I mean one bad throw...and he is vilified and we are talking about Mizzou ascending. I give DeBoer credit for the coaching..but Ty is cold blooded for sure

You guys realize it is easy to look up stats on the internet?

Alabama PK Talty’s stats

XP 22/22

20-29 yds: 2-2
30-39 yds: 4-4
40-49 yds: 3-6
50-59 yds: 0-1

Long: 46 yards

Tbh we didn’t really play all that well and bama deserves credit for that. But, we had stupid penalties, stopped running the ball, and Beau missed a lot of open receivers. Saying it shouldn’t have been close is a bit much

You are looking at stats and I’m watching the games. How many fg’s have they had to kick because they couldn’t punch it in. Several in the Vandy game alone. Ty Simpson throwing a 19 yard TD pass counts as a red zone score. I’m talking more about when Bama is at the 5 or 10 or yard line or even closer and can’t score a TD. That has happened a lot the past couple of games and it’s left these games in the balance instead of putting them away. Bama is gonna need to start punching it in more often in these situations coming down the stretch because the games will only get harder starting this week.

Missouri earned their respect and didn't quit until the clock hit 0, but they were also very fortunate on a few of those fumbles that bounced right back to them and another that went out of bounds before 'Bama could establish possession.

Yep I also wonder what percentage of Bama fans came on here and made a post about wanting him fired after the FSU game and now he is the man lol

first road game should tell us a lot about ol mizzou
I can tell you that your edge rushers are freaks. I think #9 (?) was just whipping people left and right. That guy is a monster.

I think the only thing that hurt your defense at all was playing a lot of cover 3 and leaving some flats open, and Ty took advantage.

I think most of college football got used to seeing Alabama hammer the shite out of teams for over a decade with Nick Saban there. It’s damn hard to win games like that vs equal or even slightly less talented teams, especially on the road. Credit to both teams for a hard fought game. It was a good one to watch

I said I didn’t think he was the answer after that game. What people forget is we as Bama fans were not judging him on just the FSU game. He coached a whole season last year that he was being judged on too. So my criticism was never just about the FSU game alone.

He has bounced back from the FSU loss nicely. I will give coach a ton of credit because he has really responded and the team has responded. All the heat and criticism the coaches and players received after the FSU game was totally fair though. I really like the guy so I hope he is around a long time but he is not coaching in the PAC 12 anymore. He has to demand the team brings effort every week or he will not make it at any SEC school long. It’s different down South and especially at Alabama.

Alabama is 12th best in the country in red zone scoring.

Problem the last 3 games hasn't been not scoring at all in the red zone.

It's simply been settling for way too many field goals

He's getting some shite for not being Saban at Saban's best.

Bama fans are spoiled. and FUK some of the pricks that feel its Bamas obligation to win em all.

Pull for the best cheerleading squad if you can't live with hard fought games.

Too many pussies. Not just in football.

If I saw 90% or better effort in every game, I don't really give as much a shite if they win or lose.

Losing close against a good team means NOTHING. Look at the 2022 game against UGA. Led the #1 team for most of the game. Finished 6-7.

Not saying we can’t still beat some decent teams, only saying you gotta start doing it! We still know nothing about what this team can do!

You are going to whine and complain regardless of what happens. That is who you are. On a forum full of assholes, you are the most insufferable. It is a shame LSUStephen isn’t still here so that, finally, he wouldn’t be the worst poster on the internet.

hat 4th/8 was a bit crazy, for sure.

Punting would’ve probably put Mizzou at the 20 instead of the 35-40 wherever we were at the time. I know it was on their side of the field. Anyway because of that, I didn’t think it was that big of a gamble

Agree.

It's not that big of a loss if they don't make it.

What killed Mizzou what the 3rd down play and letting the get 16 yards. The RB split the two defenders and got 7 more yards. It was a great play by the RB.

That's what allowed DeBoer to go for it.
