Comment on the record? The only one made is that OU and horn reached out to the SEC

That’s it

Agree. Arky is a yes vote. But the dollars would need to be really big for it to pass. And they just signed a $300MM year contract.

When the big 12 wanted to add houston but espn shot it down so
someone leaked that the sec had already been given similar financial data points by the networks for same state additions

No more revenue, just a further draw down on what every already gets

Mizzou, A&M, UGA, UF, USC, UK, and LSU will say no. This won’t even come close to passing. If OU want to get into the SEC, they need to try and do it without Texas. No one likes Texas and that’s what’s going to keep OU from getting in

I do not see Arkansas, Missouri and TexasAM voting yes.

For recruiting purposes, it would help Arkansas and Mizzou if Texas & Oklahoma join. They would be able to recruit in the state of Texas again. Parents in Texas would be told their kids are going to get to play games locally. Right now, if some 5-star kid from Allen wants to go to Mizzou, those parents would have to travel to places like Gainesville, Knoxville, and Lexington instead of Austin, College Station, and Norman which would be much more feasible. If they vote no, then they're just being pitty.

I imagine Florida will vote no. If Florida votes yes ... then I imagine A&M will have no issue voting yes when FSU tries to join a few years down the road.

Florida might vote yes now to prevent FSU from ever being added in the future.

If UT and OU are added now, you have to imagine that would really be the last round of expansions for the SEC. The rest of the conferences would pick up the remaining decent programs to try and close the gap.
