BK finished 20-7 across his first two seasons, for a win percentage of .740

With the loss today, Kalen DeBoer finishes his first two seasons at 20-8 with a win percentage of .714

It will be interesting to see if the parallels continue.

You think Alabama will hire Cocaine Lane in a couple of years

Alabama fans have insisted they would hate the hire, so hopefully not, for their sake.

Nah. Kaylyn at least doesn’t grind on recruits and slam tables

Maybe he needs to slam a table or two.

He seems kind of passive.

No idea what you are talking about but I would be more than ok with it. Lane is a good coach

You'd be in the minority among your fanbase.

You should make an alter with this as the name. If you don't then I will.

How many playoff games did BK win in his first 2 seasons.

This is why DeBoer is getting an extension for his 20-8 record, i guess.

BK inherited a broken program with 43 scholarship athletes and 2 losing seasons prior to his arrival.

DeBoer inherited a ferrari left by Nick Saban.

Let Bama fans reflect on that

I think Lane has adapted ahead of most anyone else in the new environment of NIL and portal. He was given every dollar he asked for to put it to use. He even had personal use of a private jet.

He also has a great eye for offensive talent. I don’t buy into the whole QB genius thing. He didnt develop a QB at Ole Miss. Matt Corral he inherited. Transfered all others. But I will say his eye for talent can’t be debated on the receivers he transferred in as well as QBs. His getting Judkins at the high school level was impressive. The kid was a 3 star that no one noticed. He did. And Judkins was awesome. He fit in great at Ole Miss when he didnt at USC or Tennessee. We will see with LSU.

there really should be no debate after this. I don't think either are bad coaches but Deboer has clearly been starting from a better roster
