Tesla is a fabulous car. Nothing wrong about it. Truly magnificent, built by the best businessman in the whole, wide world every.
The best part of it is....IT DOES NOT NEED GAS TO RUN....which means that no matter how much longer the Strait of Hormuz is blocked, IT DOES NOT IMPACT MY BUDGET.

Men's basketball will be ok because it can generate revenue. Baseball, which is a crown jewel is what's the real worry. Womens BB while not a revenue sport still is a championship calibre sport, so is Gymnastics. Those will also be a casualty.

What is a head scratcher to me is, PE funds typically demand a massive return on investment (ROI) in the shortest amount of time. If they do not get that they will claw the eyes out of the business, break it into parts, sell it and feast on the carcass.
PE funds always demand more and more and more money..... till you cannot satisfy the need.
College football does not make money per say. Fans and boosters pay for the program and its success. For the fans and boosters, it is about pride, great place for networking for business. The benefits are significant but intangible. That will not satisfy a PE fund.
However, this means that tickets and season ticket prices will shoot out of control.
Prices of memorabilia, t-shirts, caps, jerseys, mugs with LSU insignia and in LSU colors will skyrocket out of control.
If the regular LSU fan gets priced out, the long-term health of the program will be catastrophic.
In half a decade we have gone from developing young men into the future leaders of tomorrow ...... to vulture capitalism.

We are hoping that he wins 1 national championship and sets the program right.
He also grooms a good DC (Blake Baker, I am hoping) on the finer points of program and roster management (Kiffin is a master at that) before that happens. He also creates the revenue streams from which we can fund our roster in the subsequent years after his departure.
Saban was a pioneer in program building. He stayed just 5 years at LSU, but he showed us how to get it done, he showed us what we could become, the heights which we could reach.

When Lindsey Graham was 20 and his sister 13, they lost their mom to cancer and dad to a heart attack. He moved back to South Carolina and took care of his 13 year old sister....that is the true mark of a young man with character....then he goes on to college, law school, us military JAG core, US senate ....
