It's funny that you think it won't get worse.

How am I melting?
We have a reduction in schollies....some of which we've already imposed. Two assistants are banned from recruiting for a year. And we have a few years of probation.
There is not allegations of paying players a ton of money like people accused us of. No show causes for coaches. No post season ban.
If you consider our punishments to be "fricked" level.....then
Well, none of that is good. Not sure why you are trying to spin it as NBD...
BUT these are only OM's self imposed sanctions. Does not mean they will be accepted and more importantly this does not even include cash payments to Tunsil.
This is going to get VERY BAD for OM. Sorry, dude.

You do understand that we have been working directly with the ncaa and the most basic level of common sense should tell you that we've likely been working with them regarding our self imposed sanctions, right?
You do realize that schools self report and self impose all the time and the NCAA comes in and adds more penalties, right? How old are you? Also, Ole Miss just released in that letter, if you read it, that the school hasn't finished the investigation over the Tunsil stuff. So there is likely to be more implications from that once its finished.
I also am enjoying how you keep talking about "nobody cares" rules that were broken. A broken rule is a broken rule.

Again, if the NCAA ends up feeling slighted that OM didn't reveal the full story on Tunsil during this period of cooperation, well, we've seen how that goes. If they feel slighted and public opinion in the college football press turns against Ole Miss, then they will have incentive to look tough. It just depends on how long this hangs around, and if the investigators feel that OM was withholding.

The worst part about this for Ole Miss is that another round is GUARANTEED to be coming after the draft day stuff came out.
I wonder if the NFL stuff will be considered to be a different investigation -vs- a continuation of the original investigation.
I ask only because if its considered to be different, would OM be cited with "repeat offender" due to investigation #1 if evidence is found on the NFL draft day debacle (NFLD3)? And IF "repeat offender" is included in the wording regarding the NFLD3 investigation, I would think OM would be toast.

So Ole Miss football has 8 Level 1 violations in total whatever that means.
That is bad. What is amazing is how the OM staff has consistently downplayed this for months. Freeze has acted as if nothing was going on. The staff told recruits that this all pertained to the previous administration.
Just about all of the allegation for football happened on Freeze's watch.
And, now we know more about why Freeze wants his deposition to go away. The NCAA is still looking at the Tunsil stuff.
There will be a second letter...or amended first letter.
Ole Miss might really get a debilitating penalty out of this after all and Freeze may just get that show cause too.
Amazing.

Every pope, priest, and preacher has lied and all of the future ones will lie as well. Not sure why people try to compare freeze to God.

They release this the day after the shite storm in Baylor.

Alabama was working with them as well during the Albert Means scandal. Look what happened.

Good point...plus this shows that OM hid stuff from the NCAA while the NCAA was investigating them.
This will get much worse for OM.

I think you read that wrong. Women's basketball and track is included with that.
Nope.
Those [Level I infractions] are just for football (Allegations # 1, 3, 4, 8, 10, 11, 12, & 13)

I was just going by what Stewart Mandel was reporting.
Sorry...meant to respond to pank on that.
Stewart Mandel ?@slmandel · 19m19 minutes ago
In total, eight of the 13 alleged violations for Ole Miss football are deemed Level I (most serious).
