Good game Rebs. Solid pitching both staffs. I am sticking with my MSU scores 7-9 runs tomorrow but that doesn't mean we win if we give up more than we score. See you guys tomorrow unless I drive up in the morning.

That was a good baseball game. Both these teams are good. Mississippi has some talented baseball teams.

Add in a solid southern miss club, and the state has an amazing baseball reputation

congratulations on a well deserved win. Hudson is projected to be the number one pick in the major leasgue draft, I kinda expected to lose. Saturday and sunday are MUST WIN games for ole miss, if we want to achieve our goal of hosting.

We might set the record for lowest ERA of the last place SEC when this season ends

I don't think we suck, bro. we aren't elite. elite teams score 2 runs in the 1st inning instead of making 2 outs on the bases. elite teams don't throw the ball away and allow a track star to score from 1st base. elite teams win this game in extra innings once Hudson leaves after 140 pitches...we arent elite.

Good game, Rebs. Tomorrow should be fun, will decide the series, IMO.

State, yes. Not like there's ever been CWS trips for anyone else.

I've never really understood why MSU ad Ole Miss never played DSU. I have friends and family that played at DSU and they said State and Ole Miss were just scared to play DSU. Delta State won its fair share of games against us back in the day. I've just never noticed a major D1 program playing a D2 school in baseball. I could be way off there.

Matt Wyatt said on the radio that Hudson was projected by at least one publication as the #1 pick in the major league draft. I didn't just make it up.

1 publication = genespage? Haha

I love Hudson, but I don't see #1 overall... He'll be 1st round though

Well it's a lose/lose scenario for ole miss an state to play DSU. If they win its like it was expected and it likely hurts RPI, if the lose then it really stings.

For the record, Kinnison is a family member of mine. I always wanted to see him move on up to State or Ole Miss when they had head coach vacancies but he's always been content where he is.

good morning. its early bro, the others are still sleeping off last nites tie on. if we could be friendly for a sec while no ones watching, could you tell me a little bit about what to expect from sexton today? we have faced 4 exceptional starting pitchers in a row now who have handcuffed us. is he left or right handed?

Sexton is rh. He's more of a finesse pitcher than hudson... He'll thrown upper 80s/lower 90s and best pitch is a change up. He'll throw change up to lh or rh hitters in any count. Sexton is a good pitcher, but you'll score today
