Serious question, not intended to rustle jimmies.

Why hasn't anyone been responsible enough to check his brother into a rehab facility? If my bro was in the ICU for this shite, and I was known to be doing a lot of drugs too, you can bet your arse my parents or coach or someone would have addressed it. I don't care how much you are going to make next year, you won't be making shite for long in the league with a serious drug problem. And worst case scenario, something like this happens.

That's the thing about "synthetic weed" using it doesn't imply a serious drug problem. It implies you're an idiot, sure, but its so dangerous these reactions aren't from an OD its just a reaction from the dangerous chemicals that are in that crap.

I would imagine that rehab will be the next stop once he's released from the hospital

A lot of people do drugs and lead functioning lives, but it usually takes something drastic to happen (like a visit to the ICU) before rehab

I know 40 years that act like they are 15

We all do. They're the ones that do stupid stuff at 22.

I was talking about Robert, Denzel is already in the ICU, take care of your other player/friend/son who also apparently has a drug problem.

I was hoping there would be more info on this today. Really, OM and the family need to agree on saying something, anything, about this as the speculation is spinning out of control and will only get worse. If he's truly in ICU as has been reported then I see no reason not to confirm this (it's been way too long not to say something and it will eventually come out but the longer it remains a mystery the more rumors will spread -- get in front of the story as difficult as it might be and OM can help with that). The Nkemdiche brothers are celebrities and as much as we like to give college players privacy they're too above the radar to pretend otherwise.

Despite some of the boneheaded comments, I think that for the most part people will show support no matter what caused the hospitalization as most are doing now just given the rumors we have to go on. Regardless of what caused this I wish the family strength and hope Denzel pulls through and comes back better than ever.

And is largely responsible for our modern immigration crisis of Central Americans. Kids are fleeing those countries because of the drug war.

A lot of things should anger us. As I said legalize weed and tax the crap out of it. Make it like a DUI and have better drug testing for work places. Also, just cause it would be legal, does not mean the NCAA will not take it off the ban substance list.

So Robert needs to go to rehab because Denzel is in the ICU? That makes sense

According to the ESPN (or maybe Fox Sports, not sure)scroll at lunch, he is being released from hospital today and is questionable for the game Saturday. Who knows, though, that could be 2 day old info and therefore complete BS.
