They do not:
"Generally, in legal proceedings, the University of Mississippi allows its formal court filings to speak on its behalf," said Alice Clark, vice chancellor of university relations. "But to be clear, this case has no merit, and there is no reason to apologize. Further, it is clear Mr. Nutt’s suit seeks far more than an apology."

They must be gluttons for punishment.

other than the fact they knowingly lied about the allegations being "mostly against the previous staff" thus besmirching (that's right, besmirching) Houston Nutt in the process.
I love how arrogant they are in the face of all this. I hope Nutt gets $7M+ out of them, but he'd likely settle for $4M right now.

Not an alter. Genuine first post. Had to jump on the Rant at some point. Figured OM's slow-motion dumpster fire was a good time to start contributing.

People are forgetting most of the major violations in the first NOA were under Nuttbag. That is whne he was saying they were bashing him. The 2nd NOA which came a year later was all Freeze

Is that for Nutt of does Bucky see one of his whores across the field?

Here's the perfect ending, imo:
OM offers Nutt $5 million to go away and Nutt tells them to pound sand. After getting 1 scholarship loss away from the death penalty, OM focuses all of their fury and the little money they have left on Houston Dale. Nutt ends up settling for a written apology and no cash and OM ends up as everybody's HC opponent for a decade
