How many banners are revered like this one?

Not a troll thread. That banner is super sweet which we will never see the likes of again. But glad to know your inferiority complex (thinking every thread like this is a troll) spreads to other teams not named Alabama, too.

Not a troll thread.

Anytime I see this at the end of a post, I know I don’t need to read the rest.

It is not that surprising that Ole Miss only had a share of one division championship. They were bad for a lot of years and just mediocre most of the others. They simply didn’t have the players to win the division. They had some superstars, but they didn’t have the talent across the roster.

A bigger surprise to me is that despite having so much NFL level talent, LSU only made the playoffs one single time in the history of the 4 team playoff. On opening night of the 2023 NFL season, LSU was forth in NFL players on an active roster. They were behind only Georgia, Ohio State, and Alabama; three playoff regulars. Yet LSU only appeared once. Even.with a Heisman winner, three first round picks, and six total picks they couldn’t make the playoffs. Not only could they not make the playoffs, they couldn’t even beat lowly Ole Miss. Ouch, that is WilliamTaylor level embarrassing.

Lost in all of this shite talk, Bama's last natty is only a year removed from LSU's.

Alabama won the SEC and made the playoffs last year. LSU last won the SEC and made the playoffs in 2019.. That was your year. A SEC championship, your only playoff berth, a national championship. It was also the last year LSU had less than three losses. Hold on tight to those memories so they may sustain you through the twilight of Brian Kelly’s career.

Yet, despite all of that, Alabama's most recent natty is only a year removed from LSU's.

Such a strange brag. So, when do you think LSU will be able to claim they have a more recent national championship in football? Do you think you will still be alive to see it?

I mean I've watched them win 3, no reason to think they won't win more.

Wrong. They claim 2020 but literally no one counts it. Don’t let Tuscaloosa people brainwash you. That year was a monumental year, but mostly for the groundbreaking female kickers and cardboard cutout experiments.

It was a groundbreaking season as the players’ mentality, with the combination of opt-outs and NIL, switched from a team mentality to a “what are you going to do for me” mentality.

It was a groundbreaking season because we saw the first female kick a beauty a whole 10 yards.

But it was not a real season and there was no championship. I was surprised to see the 2020 champs flag flying in Bryant Denny this year, tbh. It’s more meaningless than Ole Miss’s divisional champs* banner. And I think you know that.

55-17 in Baton Rouge and the only flag I recall was a white one flapping over the steaming hot scoreboard. And Red Bull throwing his headphones in a fit of anger as DeVonta Smith destroyed the Bayou defense all night.

You should be really proud. Despite the massive opt-outs, shortened schedule, and 7 win runner up, it was still a very important season and no one can take that away from you.
