October 12th.
I guess that's what you were seeking.
In any case, your thread title sucks.

If LSU doesn't correct the gap issues on the defensive side then Ole Miss is going to have 350 rushing yards and it won't be much of a game.

LSU's rushing defense is still suspect.
Lost in all the hoopla of last year's thriller was the Rebs going for 300+ on the ground. Judkins had close to 40 carries IIRC. We killed y'all with that off-tackle sweep from shotgun. Judkins ain't dere no mo tho.

Do you think some of that is from losing your stud DT? Sorry I can’t remember his name.

Nichols?
In any event, Rebs have plenty on their plate before our date in Death Valley.
Everyone knows that's going to be a dogfight that could go either way. Hell, I checked yesterday and LSU was a 1.5 point favorite.

Correct. The Alabama game is LSU’s super bowl. Hell, it is some people’s entire personality.
2017 - end of Saban’s championships
2019 - end of LSU drought
2023 - end of Saban
It’s still a big game, would not call it our Super Bowl anymore though.
For a while Bama was everyone’s Super Bowl, FYI.

LSU and Ole Miss is a true blood and guts rivalry, to my way of thinking.
It goes back a long way. Younger fans might not understand.

Jacobian Guillory. I wouldn't even call him a stud DT. He was our best DT, but our DT room is in the worst shape it's been in since Dinardo. We started a true freshman and a transfer from Wisconsin against USC.

Yeah him.

Gotcha. I’m not familiar with y’all’s Dline. I just know how bad it was last year and that was the only player I’ve heard discussed.
Do yall anticipate him coming back next season?

It probably doesn't help that LSU lost Jacobian Guillory, but I believe even with him the overall defense would still be small and slow, with the exception of the speed of Perkins.
What's going to happen is that the line backers are going to have to come up in the box to stop the run and then all you have to do is run play action and have a field day with 7-8 yard slants.

Ole Miss will win this game by 10 points.

Yeah Perkins is a hoss and will probably cause us to keep a running back on his side to help block.

Cayden Lee about to feast if that's the case. Super shifty 5'11" slot guy and runs a great route. With Tre and Juice on the outside with Preikshorn juggernauting random safeties, I see Cayden gettting solid chunks over the middle with a good bit of YAC.

I was at the game when Les Miles had them try and kick a field goal with no time left. Everybody went crazy.
