Nobody is claiming they're choir boys. They need to stop being drama queens and starting shite. I highly doubt that the OPD or any KAs would be complicit in a high profile assault case cover up since they arrest players for lesser shite all the time i.e. this weekend.

Fleeing doesn't make you guilty. I don't blame them at all. But I would guess the lack of evidence has far more to do with no one (at the time the cops investigated) being willing to rat out some high profile players and recruits and the lack of any tangible evidence.
Since the police investigated, it's quite possible a few of his fraternity brothers have decided to testify. Or maybe the lawyers have some tangible evidence the cops missed. More likely some people be talking that previously clammed up.

Hazing is being handled very delicately nowadays. If their was seriously a brutal assault as alleged in the civil suit the KAs would at the very least be on probation. The university don't play that shite.

An assault on a member by a non member isn't remotely related to hazing. Unless its a member assaulting a pledge, or at this point in time making a pledge do anything, it would be a different story.

An assault like the one alleged would be enough to get KA thrown on probation even if it had been two stray hobos that just walked in and started fighting
