Sip Ep at State just got their charter removed for making pledges do pushups.

This sucks for Ole Miss cause payment would likely be delayed until the family can afford it, i.e whenever one of them gets their first NFL paycheck. So they are almost assuredly leaving for the big leagues whenever possible.

dead serious. Some kid reported it to his mom and she called nationals. Another Sig Ep committed suicide in his dorm last semester, however it is said to believe it wasn't related to hazing of any kind.

I'm a GDI but from an outsider's perspective, I've always thought the historically black fraternities do it best. They don't accept members unless they are a sophomore, have a 3.5 GPA, have a certain amount of extracurricular activities and have never been in any legal troubles. That's how it should be IMO.

It's partly the hero worship that they receive from grown men. It's why recruiting sites make boatloads of cash while being wrong 80% of the time. This is the downside of the proliferation of the internet too.

Regular arse pushups. Literally that and making them memorize fraternity history was all that was done. It pretty much blindsided our alumni association because of how absurd the sanction was.

There was a little more when I pledged but they had severely lessened the process in the past few years.

Yeah, but black frats haze the frick out of each other. Like big time hazing. That's not the way to do it. A lot of them willingly get branded too. frick that.

I had a white friend rush a black fraternity at Bama. From what I've been told, they haze balls off.

He wasn't a Sig Ep, he started pledging but dropped a few weeks into it. Sad deal, I think he had some pretty serious depression issues though from what I've been told, which is probably obvious.

Is that before or after they brand said balls?

My buddy who was in a frat at Ole Miss said he remembered the black fraternity houses turning music up as loud as they could and you could still hear the screams from pledges.
