8 seems right. You know he’s going to have one stinker game against a “bad” team. And I don’t expect the defense to carry the team the way it did last year when the run game disappeared.
Austin Simmons might be awesome but defense and run game is where I would point my focus on setting a team over under.
I think their running game will be better than last season.

I expect Chuckles Weiss, Junyur to dial up some bonehead plays again and cause us to drop some games we should win.
For all the hate Weiss gets, we have yet to see him coach any QB other than Dart, who, lord love him, couldn't read a defense to save his life. If Simmons can just find 50% of the time the obvious mismatches that Dart would miss, we're going to be in great shape.

Rebs have been one of the better rushing offenses in the conference since Kiffin arrived. Prior to 2024, we finished 3rd in 2023 and led the conference in rushing yards per game in conference games three consecutive seasons in 2020 - 2022. But, last year, we took a big step back running the ball in conference play. We finished 10th in the conference in rushing yards per game in conference games. UK and Florida stymied our rushing offense in our two losses to them.
Comparatively, last season, our rushing defense was much better than the average under Kiffin. Other than 2024, we have really struggled stopping the run in conference play.

It’s early in the year. They are going to be good. Better than Ark, UK and State.
I watched us give one of the worse performances of the Kiffin era in Tulane’s home stadium, and we still beat them by 2-3 touchdowns. This is not a potential loss.

Obviously, the fans want to know why Bentley wasn't given the ball.
But yeah, we really struggled running the ball last year, particularly in conference games.

Man, we really sucked that day. We couldn't run the ball at all. It was a one-score game with 1:54 left in the game, before Caden Davis booted a 55-yarder. We didn't dominate that game at all. They should be a good team this year, although they did lose their great QB . . . to Duke of all places.

We’ll see how they rebound with a new QB. I just don’t see us losing that game at home. But yeah, WAOM is always waiting to strike.

I think if we can go 4-1 in September, we can get 9+, but if we go 3-2 or worse, then 9+ is gonna be really hard.
Obviously we gonna go 5-0 tho
Obviously we gonna go 5-0 tho

Ya we nearly and should have beaten you with the worst defense in school history. We will field a much better one this time
ya our defense were real world beaters as well. 10th in the SEC vs 13th.
It didn't take us OT to win at home.

I have Ole Miss going 8-4

Apparently you're retarded considering that we had USC on the schedule for this year and they backed out. Wake Forest did too so we had to replace them with what we could find at the last minute; Georgia State and Washington State.

I would put Ole Miss at 8-4 but if that QB is the real deal they might go 9-3.
