LSU fans constantly talking about Lane leaving Ole Miss for LSU does not equal Ole Miss focusing on Lane.

No they are hiring staff to go recruit kids in Louisiana,( even when Miles was there we got some really good kids out of Louisiana)
Lane wants to recruit nationally top players and portal ready players ..I'm not saying he shouldn't obviously but he may not put a priority on a three/ four star kid that could develop into a really good player. Lane is gonna Lane I'm not mad about him leaving I get going to LSU..I didn't like the way he left trying to hold Ole Miss hostage in order to coach the team in the playoffs that's the problem I have with him...
I wouldn't understand if he went to Auburn or even Florida..lucky for LSU, Scott Strickland supposedly put some things in place that Lane didn't want or like..I don't understand picking Florida over LSU yeah your in Florida but I think he wouldn't have had the success he will at LSU and I don't think he would win a national championship at Florida or Auburn despite what their fan base thinks he can definitely win a national championship at LSU in 2-3 years
It's going to be interesting if Michigan QB enters the portal..he will set the market for top $ the Cincinnati QB is going to Texas tech for 4 million I'm thinking the Michigan QB will get 6 or more ..Coaches have a time limit at every school except Utah and Iowa.

I remember when Lane left Tennessee, the city council tried to name the wastewater treatment plant after him. At least Ole Miss hasn't stooped to that level yet.

We hired 3 guys from LSU who all had previously worked at Ole Miss. Austin Thomas and Bolden were both recently employed by Ole miss and Frank Wilson hired Pete Golding a long time ago. To act like there were not legitimate reasons for Pete Golding to hire these guys and just assume it's to get back at Lane is just stupid.
Losing Lane hurts, it absolutely does. With Lane we had a decent shot to beat UGA, without him that chance goes down considerably. That said, that is only with a Lane that is focused on helping this team win. If we're getting ready for UGA but Lane is more focused on what qb he needs to get in the portal for LSU, we are better off without it.

This is the defense yall will see the whole game this time. Idk I just would be worried if I was an OM fan about how we have as strong an offensive performance not getting mostly drop 8 in zone in most snaps against your offense. IMO yall can get up to maybe 24 points but that’s not going to be enough.
I guess we should just forfeit the game, that cool with you?
