Ole Miss made huge recruiting mistake

We had literally dozens of the very best 4 and 5 star recruits in the nation visiting us this weekend. They got to see what a piss poor gameday environment in our pathetic little high school stadium is like. Plus, they got to see a real time comparison of what a juggernaut coaching staff LSU has, compared to Drunk Pete and his ragtag bunch.
No way any player visiting would ever choose to play for us when they could go to the just different heaven in Baton Rouge.
Huge mistake by us.

No… but they were impressed by the fact that we’ve taken the last 2 out of 3 games from Georgia… and that we knocked Georgia out of the playoffs.

In this new age of football, recruits don’t care about a program’s history as much any more, they only care about the here and now, money and also being the equation that adds trophies to the case (Indiana anyone?).

In all seriousness, when Oxford high school was building a new school, Andy Kennedy would take recruits there and told them it was a new mall.
