I swear, I have seen more Rebel fans talk about/blame injuries this season than all of the other fan bases combined in the past 2 seasons. I mean, LSU lost their starting QB before game 1. A&M lost theirs a few games in. LSU lost their #1 WR, and I believe their top defender. Alabama had to play a LB at RB. Everyone has had major injuries at this point. But you guys are the only ones I see constantly blaming them for losses and poor performances. Heck, LSU fired their coach and he couldn't even field an entire practice.

So lay it out there. Going into your final game: what are these massive injuries and why are they more important than everyone else's?

The football team is the healthiest it's been all year going into the Egg Bowl.

The fans all have sandy vaginas though.

This is accurate. A&M fans have claimed they would have won the national championship but for one injury to a shaky first-year starting QB in Haynes King.

Ole Miss was just saving their players for their annual Super Bowl, that's all.

Somebody is still salty I see.

Think we have done pretty good this year. Missed some key pieces to the offense, but still made it work most of the year.

The difference between LSU and Atm and ole miss is we have no depth currently. So where LSU and atm have four stars backing up their starters we have walk ins playing. The least staff left our roster fricked.

For a fan base claiming they had no roster all last year I find this kinda ironic

Okay I’ll play along…we’re 9-2…if we were healthy we would be 11-0…you happy?

You really want to go there?

Ole Miss begged out of a game (and a sure loss) against A&M last year because of covid number shortages.

State manned up and played with less than 50 scholarship players for most of year. Almost beat Georgia on their home field with 45 scholarship players. Almost beat Ole Miss on their home field with similar numbers. Half the defense last year was made up of walk ons and true freshmen.

We could've taken the Ole Miss route and laid down, but that's y'all's thing....we don't want to take it from you.

Nice burn, though.

I don't believe your second string is made up of "walk-ins".

Ole Miss was down 8 offensive starters against Auburn at one point. Corral gritted it out and came back in though.

We are still down a few and have a few more playing hurt but I don’t think it has been an excuse for losing. Maybe for not winning with style. Ole Miss is 9-2 after all.

You must’ve forgotten why the game was postponed in the first place? A&M had Covid issues. So both teams “backed out” and your team got beat regardless of how few players you ran out there so I’m not sure of the point here.

I love how you say they manned up with such a short roster. Mike leach ran off 20 transfers

LSU has walk ons playing right now too. Our starting outside corners currently are a 3 star and unrated transfer from an FCS school. Our starting safeties right now were both three stars. We have two scholarship running backs healthy. Our receivers left are 2 three stars, and two 4 star true freshmen and 3 star true freshman. Our OL has been a swinging door of injuries all year. We have walkons playing on the DL due to injuries there. LSU has like 50 scholarship players total right now that aren’t hurt or in the portal.

My honest take on all the fake injuries...

It’s a smart coaching move, because its technically not against the rules. Kiffin probably saw that in practice, trying to beat a offense that relies on tempo.

It’s like some of things people blame Bill Belichick for, for cheating. He didn’t cheat with a lot of allegations, he just found an unwritten rule and took advantage of it. A lot of the Football rules you see today are because of coaches taking advantage of rules.
