and ranked #101 nationally.

For comparison A&M's Law School is 4 years old and ranked #80.

What exactly goes on in Mississippi?

That's pretty misleading. That law school is 4 years old in name only. Used to be Texas Wesleyan and has been around since 1992. Law school rankings are also pretty irrelevant once you get that high.

Better question for you is why is Texas a top 15 law school and A&M not even close

None of that refutes the fact A&M's law school is 4-5 years old. In fact

The overall ranking has increased significantly since 2015 when it was unranked.[18] U.S. News had previously ranked the law school 149th (2016), 111th (2017), and 92nd (2018).

It makes it that much more impressive. A&M took a shite school and make is better than a lot of its peers in only 4 years. What we touch turns to gold.

Actually it does. That school has been around 30 years, not 4. Why do you care? Do you go to school there?

There was no Texas A&M law school 30 years ago.

This would be the correct spin/troll/flame thread.

There was no University of Louisiana at Lafayette until 1999. That doesn't mean the school was founded in 1999.

A&M just bought an existing school, put their name on it, invested some money, and still finished 6th in the state of Texas passing the test that allows you to practice law.

To be fair to Ole Miss, the slavery law that their law school was founded to study has been an obsolete for a while now, as are the Jim Crow laws they regrouped to focus on after the civil war.

In the year 2017. In 2015 they were 3rd.

Big deal. Not bad for a law program in its 5th year. Taking a law school from unranked to top 80 is a major accomplishment

Actually it's a very big deal. That's the point of going to law school

Not as much as you'd like to believe. The rankings stop at 144. The difference between a law school ranked 80 and 101 is basically nothing.

I always find it funny when people brag about the ranking of a school they didn't attend.
