It must be so painful to have such an (unwarranted) high opinion of yourself while having such a lame-arse football team to cheer for, huh?

Not suggesting nor even think that it would happen, but for information sake only...

Can anyone think of any D1 football coach who left a school and returned later, which would be the case with Tuberville and Ole Miss?

...in other news today, a jet was seen leaving France's Charles De Gaulle airport heading for Singapore!

I second the hyperbole stance. I don't know how many graduates they have each year but there is no way in hell 15% have private jets.

Why, in God's name, would any reasonable human equate or compare his own opinion of himself -- or the university he supports -- to that of the performance of that university's football team. The fundamental difference between us is that we are dont make the connection. Football is a distraction from real life, not an extension of it.

Considering that I and 99.999% of Ole Miss fans don't play on the current football team, I think its pretty fricking irrelevant on having a high opinion of myself, my alma mater, and fellow alumni. There are bigger things in life than football, like hot broads, private jets, yachts, four vacation homes, and enough blow to kill a Columbian Hooker.

I didn't bring up the private jets, ya'll did. I agree w/ you. I was just thinking the poster was trying to compensate for having such a shitty football team, by bragging about private jets.

It used to be Dickie Scruggs'. True story.

They all got out of jail?

about an hour south of San Antonio.

Art Briles: Baylor/Waco (4.5 hours)

Kevin Sumlin: Houston (4+ hours)
June Jones: SMU/Dallas (6 hours)
Tommy Tuberville: Texas Tech/Lubbock (6 hours)

Briles got UH back on the map and has done a fair job at Baylor. The common denominator at both schools is that he recruited QB's, Kolb and Griffin III, that could run the spread offense he learned as an assistant a Tech. Outside QB play there has not been much to his teams.

I wonder how many members of the football team tried to stow away on the plane trying to escape before the coming massacre this weekend?

We're just trying to win the party this weekend, which for the first time ever we lost last week. It's a new low for us. I think everyone is just going to be there to defend the Grove, not the team.
