Will Bama cover 28 1/2? That's all I want to know.

That number seems too high. Ole Miss still has good players. Over 4 TDs is a lot to cover and Saban does not run up the score in the second half of blow outs.

You will be able to pick up 5-6 yards just going up the middle to run out time.

So that he could then take 3 knees from the 1 yard line instead of kicking a FG

Bama will trail by 10-14 at the half.

I almost wanted him to have Tua run around and throw it way to preserve a 500 yard rushing day. From 501 to 496 on those kneel downs.

JalenHurts in the first half, Tua in the second. Hama will probably cover . Ole Miss
has no kicker and no run or pass defense. Don't think Saban runs it up but might
be hard not to.

I remember that too. Kicking a field goal there would have also scored points. At least he was giving Vandy a chance to stop em.

Did you also see where Bama got the ball with 11:45 left in the 4th Quarter and ran it up the gut for 9+ minutes with the 6th string RB all the way to the Vandy 3 and then knelt the last 2 minutes of the clock out? That's what I'm talking about. He was trying very hard not to score after that last TD at the beginning of the 4th Quarter.

The last drive for Bama. 15 plays, 59 yards, 11:45 off the clock, no points. This is about as an effective run out the game mercy drive as you will ever see.

there are moral victories to be won in this game only. absolutely no chance at actually defeating the Crimsn Tide...but if Patterson throws for 300+ and 2 or 3 TDs, we hold Bama under 50 points and 350 on the ground...hey, these are goals to shoot for.

I'd be satisfied if Patterson can throw 2 or 3 TDs and has no pick-sixes. Do you really think Gates and the scrubs can hold Bama to < 350 on the ground?

If Ole Miss can move the football it will be a good game. The rushing game mismatch isn't that much of a big deal as long as they aren't breaking off sixty and seventy yarders early in drives. If both teams move the ball a little bit the game will be shortened enough so that Bama doesn't have a million possessions like they did against Vandy. Having said that, we need to prevent explosive plays and we need to make some offensive plays against man coverage. I'm looking at a 35-24 or 42-24 type of game.

You think THAT'S bad? LSU is so depleted that we practically have to beg to keep it with 3-4 Td's.

The big question is whether UM will gain 30 yards rushing.

The last few days have been unusually strange compared to the last few years when Ole Miss fans were gang raping the bammers. Sad to see it come to an end.

I think Alabama works through their recent Ole Miss issues here and plays their first and second teams longer this week than they did versus Vanderbilt.

I hope Alabama hangs a hundred on that arse.
