No reason for a Southern Team to play on artificial turf outside.

Great news... turf is a lot better than the concrete days of legion field, but still prefer grass..

Treadwell and Drake. Anyone else? Injuries happen everywhere and on every surface. We had a player snap his leg in Tiger Stadium too.

So they are "upgrading" the high school stadium?

Yeah maybe you'll only lose by two TDs next time you come to the VHS

Treadwell's injury is reason enough to ditch the artificial turf. As others have noted, there is no reason for a warm weather team to have artificial turf outdoors.

Chap Bumphis broke his collar bone there. We had a running back break his leg horribly on it.

Will it still be one of the smallest stadiums in the Power 5 conferences?

Tunsil hurt his leg in 2013 in DWS. Aaron Morris tore his ACL twice on natural grass. shite happens. I agree with changing because I prefer the natural grass look but injuries happen.

I think I might be the only person on here who likes the look of artificial more than natural grass.
