This is a huge moment for the program. We went 2-10 last year and lost 31-3 to a then 5-6 Mississippi State. What Hugh Freeze was able to do in a year with players so few and so young is incredible. The guy is a winner and he's going to win a great many games at Ole Miss. This was the tipping point. He took what was the worst team in the SEC last year to one that has looked like one of the better of late. We lost three games by less than a touchdown this year. Three plays away from 9-3. We had second quarter leads on both Bama and Georgia. Those are moral victories, but moral victories are worth something if you build on them... which we have.

Our recruiting class gon' be ssstaccked!

Congrats to Ole Miss on shutting down the grind... Good to see them bounce back in the Egg Bowl after 3 rough losses.

You led Alabama all of 7 seconds. But congrats on beating State.

Nice win today. Freeze has surprised me. OM should be better next year, too. Mullen needed this win worse than OM, too.

The timing of the lead was more important than the length of time it lasted. The point was that we were in the ballgame with what I think are the best two football teams in the country, with a chance to win those games. We didn't, but last year we were never even in the ball game with Kentucky.

Congrats, Ole Miss. No matter what anyone thinks or says, you went from the bottom of the SEC to a team that everyone takes seriously.

How can anyone outside of a UM alum pull for them? That I don't get.
You'd have to be a sanctimonious, pretentious a-hole to do so. Or maybe you just have never been around them.

Or maybe they have actually left their own state and don't enjoy having sex with farm animals. Read the forums, its clear that literally everyone was rooting against yall. Perhaps your hunchbacked coach and fanbase should have talked less shite and had some class to them. No one respects you and most the country guesses that Mississippi State is Ole Miss' proper name. No one outside of the SEC or who keeps up with college football knows Mississippi State. You are completely irrelevant.
