Does anyone know what the general timeline of these events are? I'm not really familiar with NCAA investigations. Is there a general window where certain events have to take place in? Like when any official hearing or results have to be announced by?

According to their administration here's the timeline:
-There's NO Investigation! Nothing to see here!
-Okay, there is but its all WBB and Track!
-Okay, so some football but all under Nutt!
-Okay, some under Freeze but no Level I's.
-Tunsil has already been punished.
-Okay, Okay we cheated but everyone does!
-Everyone hates OM and there's STILL an investigation ongoing! (They are basically admitting this now bc we learned this week that they are STILL investigating them.)

I'll bet some of our Bulldog brethren have the timeline scribbled on their bedroom walls in sheeps blood.

2012 - Freeze goes to Ole Miss, Cheating goes to another level.
2014 - Ole Miss beats Alabama - Investigation goes to another level.
2015 - Ole Miss beats Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Investigation goes to the highest level.

Ole Miss has to be the only team to cheat and still not win anything of significance.

If you are all in, at least make sure you have something to vacate.

What? Don't you know that sugar was the NC last year? Bought and paid for and "I'd have to say yeah" even got him a TD!

Or that time Tunsil's Instagram got hacked and he admitted taking money in which the school released that they'd cooperate with the NCAA on a further inquiry.

Go ahead and downvote. Let the butthurt flow. The free flow of false information on here is at a new precedent.

Mullen continued to beat OMs arse. Dominating OM in recruiting and developing players.
It begins to be obvious that OM cannot compete with State by running a legit program.
OM boosters decide the only way to compete with Mullen and State is to take the reigns off the boosters and go all out in order to compete with and beat State.
It works for a while, until the thuggish players they bought start to run the program.
Impossible to cover up the reckless and rampant recruiting tactics, they get caught.
Now in desperation mode, the school is doing everything it takes to stave off the collapse of they're program.

In essence, much like Reagan taking down the USSR, Mullen is responsible for taking down the Rebels. In their efforts to compete and stay on the same level as MSU, they have in a sense bankrupted their program in terms of ethics. Thus causing them to eventually be relegated to USM level program. Leaving MSU as the only Mississippi SEC level program.

So they are doing just like state did?

BTW, is state still on probation for having boosters pay players
