It’s hard to win over there at night

They should finish like 10-2 looking at that schedule.

Don’t forget that the Egg Bowl is completely unpredictable chaos and is a beloved Thanksgiving tradition.

Up is down. Left is right. Simulated dog pissing. Brawls and ejections. Kevin Fant beating Eli Manning. Bo Wallace fumbling in the end zone. Dak Prescott winless as a starter.

Craziest SEC game of the year.

A good friend is a die hard rebel fan, I'm pulling for them.

Lane is doing good things.

Forgot about that.

The current starting quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys shite in his pants during the Egg Bowl.

No matter what, you cannot pencil in a win or a loss in this game. The proper thing to say is Ole Miss looks like a 9-2 or 10-1 team heading into the Egg Bowl.

Lane has done a really good job and players and boosters have bought in.

Not that surprising because y’all were fool’s gold in 14 and 15. Didn’t beat a single elite team those two years and only a handful of 8-win squads. Your only win over a 9+ win team was against Southern Miss in 15 lol.

Typically, yes. But the oddness of the rivalry doesn't really matter if one team is solid and going against an awful team that's mailed it in.

Definitely fools gold. Fun couple of seasons though.

Just saying that I’ve been in the maroon side of this rivalry. You simply can’t rule the game anything but a toss up, although Ole Miss should shite kick State this season.

No doubt. It’s always unpredictable and I love it. I just couldn’t let the opportunity to slam y’all slip away

Despite reports of their complete death, State is sitting at 4 wins with a really bad Southern miss on the schedule. That game will be for a bowl.

The only things guaranteed in any Egg Bowl are a fumble, a fight, and a missed field goal.

I'm not talking about this year, specifically.

What I said goes for either team in the past 20 years or so. If OM or MSU is dreadfully bad and the other is having a solid season, it's typically an asskicking.

excellent season, with a schedule that ranked #1 most difficult schedule in the country.
10-3 2021
8-5 2022
staring 10 wins in the eye for 2023

imagine if Kiffin hadnt spent the last month of the season last year flirting with Auburn instead of preparing his team...

I agree with this 99% of the time, but if the State team from yesterday shows up in the Egg Bowl then it will be ugly for you guys.

This is why I love the 12-team playoff. Right now, Ole Miss is probably in (committee will reward their schedule and have them higher than 12th). They are playing on the road, but they are in and they are dangerous.

Byes: 1 Georgia, 2 Michigan, 3 Florida State, 4 Washington

First round matchups:

5 Ohio State hosts 12 Air Force (although Tulane is better)
6 Oklahoma hosts 11 Ole Miss
7 Texas hosts 10 Penn State
8 Oregon hosts 9 Alabama

UCF should have beaten Oklahoma in Norman yesterday, Ole Miss might smoke them - then they get a Florida State team that has been Jeckyll and Hyde. Look up and Ole Miss is playing Michigan in Pasadena in a national semifinal. Can't wait!
