It is bizarre. Of any fan-base to give a hard time to another for a coach leaving, you would imagine LSU fans would be the last.
They truly have zero self-awareness though. Their cognitive ability to reason things out is not on that level.
I've seen gravestones at Bellevue Memorial in Opelousas that say "Saban Lied". Another one says "Saban Loves LSU". The first burial plot was from 2017, the second from 2019. That's well over a decade after Saban left LSU.
Saban didn't even leave LSU for Alabama like Kiffin left Ole Miss for LSU, but try telling that to an LSU fan. 99% of them actually believe Saban left LSU directly for Alabama.
They are some of the most stupid people to ever trod the Earth.

This is why it is frustrating to have a conversation with LSU fans; all of you are just impervious to logic. It's a genetic trait, I'm afraid.
Let's review:
I say LSU fans acted at least a few hundred million, maybe a billion, times worse than Ole Miss fans have when Kiffin left directly from Ole Miss headed to LSU compared to when Saban left MIAMI for Bama years later.
Saban, contrary to the beliefs of some LSU fans, didn't even leave LSU for Alabama. Yet, they acted foolish for the entire 16 years Saban was at Bama, non-stop. It was way beyond sad, delving into the manic and mentally unstable.
Your response is:
LSU fans believe it is not even a comparable situation because, you know, Saban won a NC at LSU and then went to the NFL.
Yeah, it is different. It's even a worse look for LSU fans than it is for Ole Miss fans who are regretful that a good coach left them and headed straight to what is one of their historical rivals.
All of you really are just too fricking stupid to talk to. The ones, very few, that aren't just dumb are liars and revisionists that lack the ability to be honest with themselves or anyone else.
