The bowls that are a part of the cfp aren't really bowl games anymore. They are playoff games. Its like an NFL team receiving a trophy for winning playoff games but not winning the superbowl.

I thought that was just on the side of the SEC champ rings?
And is this just on the side of Ole Miss' Sugar Bowl ring? I see no issue if so. The ring commemorates an achievement (winning SEC or Sugar Bowl) and the side has other accomplishments.

tbh, i was pretty impressed we pulled Lane away from an in conference active title contender during the post season. And beat out Florida and whoever else was interested along the way. All while casting aside Notre Dame's winningest coach in history who also left them to join us.
