The amount of denial is simply staggering.

Here's a brief rebuttal, even assuming the state of general cheating by everyone else in CFB assumed by OM fans:

Why didn't OM continue to see the benefits of the cheating?

Well, if you failed to notice, the last year and a half have had the NCAA digging through their shite with a medium toothed comb in preparation for the colonoscopy of sanctions coming down the road.

Look at it this way; if you had a prospective job that had a nice signing bonus, but shite long term prospects, you'd take a job with a slightly less favorable signing bonus and great long term prospects over it.

It doesn't take fortune tellers to know that OM is going to be in the crapper for a while because of their awful self-management.

They're not going to get the Death Penalty; there's simply too much TV money at stake to do that-- but they are going to get the next best thing. They're going to lay waste to the program-- think Penn State level sanctions, but without the actual footing to get them tossed out for OM.

Do other schools cheat? No doubt. Ole Miss' major problem is that they not only cheated, but they made documenting proof of that exceptionally easy.

Use your brain, you totally missed the gist of my post of how your typical replies go in general. And FTR, I personally think those escorts were for Hugh but also Leo and Kobe weren't in Tampa or Katy. But I have a feeling you will make my point again when answering a question directly about ole miss.

Yes, but you still don't understand the *consequences* of that.

The consequences are, that OM has put itself at ground zero for a major NCAA reaming. It is apocalyptic level stupidity, and shows systemic failure in management over years and through multiple levels. It has more than earned OM the kind of program carpet bombing they are going to receive.

OM is great at putting their best foot forward, and they line the sun-dressed beauties up front to promote the scene. But if you visit the tents and spend some time you notice that the overwhelming majority of bodies belong to folks with their eyes a little too close together, or people with the tell-tale elongated head or the unusually large number of fans with Hapsburg Jaws or Microcephaly.

It's heart-breaking, honestly.

Short fricking arms everywhere too which I think is a sign their moms drank way too much while they were in vitro. Most of the dudes have to bend forward to zip their pants.

And don't give me this, well its better investment because we get them to the league. OM had more first rounders in its first top 10 class then the rest of the west combined.

You had one year where you had first rounders. Bama puts multiple kids in first round every year. More first rounders than any other school in the nation.

AND those kids get to compete for championships in college and play in more high pressure, marquee games than any other team in the country. That appeals to some kids.

Do I think Bama is spotless? Nope. But I also don't think Saban is calling boosters several hundred times a year. I don't think the associate AD is coordinating introductions to recruits and boosters and then texting with the secretary of one of the boosters about it being a "done deal" with a recruit. I don't think Bama has ever continued cheating WHILE being investigated (which, Lord knows we've dealt with 3 investigations in the past 20 years, so we've had chances to be as stupid as Ole Miss and passed on it).

I also don't think any of the other 12 SEC teams not named Bama or Ole Miss break the rules at the level that Ole Miss does, but I understand you've convinced yourself that they do b/c it's easier to do that than to admit you guys were being led by a collection of idiots who thought they could bend and break rules and never get caught.

I'm a Ole Miss fan since the mid 70's and I'm fully aware we had a fraud as a head coach, we cheated at every turn and we are screwed for the next 10 years. I'm just hoping we get another coach that can do what Tuberville did after Billy Brewer buried us (phone records indicated Brewer was in communications with a booster that was paying for recruits to visit strip clubs).

Im not gonna argue with a gump about why kids choose Bama over OM. There are plenty of reason why when the money is the same. But the idea that Bama develops players more is why they put more in the league is asinine. You have more talent is why you have more go to the nfl. OM has had one top 10 class go through and we put in more 1st rounders then the SEC west combine. Does that mean we developed better? No. It means we had kids who had nfl talent on our team.

this is that flawed OM logic at work again. you're still trying to make it seem as tho everyone cheats at a level greater than or equal to OM. You assume this, but if it were the case, then where are the reporters chasing down the mountain of allegations/evidence of other schools cheating?

there is quote after quote about guys coming out of Bama being more "NFL ready" and having played in big games for years so they don't come in wide-eyed.

Bama definitely recruits more talent than OM on average, but they also develop that talent better. You'll struggle to convince anyone otherwise.

During freeze's cheating years OM recruited on the same level as Bama. What separates Bama from everybody is their depth. Our starters were on the same level with Bama but we had no where near the depth y'all had.

It is delusional to think every coaching staff is working behind the scenes with boosters to pay for recruits. That is why they camped out in Oxford and only Oxford. This is what every fanbase that gets hammered tells themselves to justify the cheating. I said it during our scandal but I was wrong.
