He was wildly inconsistent and inaccurate against Kentucky.
He also tweaked the ankle of his planting leg early in the game.
Someone already pointed this out but our interior Oline is our biggest liability. We added some portal linemen and that is a unit that needs time to gel…..but if I’m not mistaken, our RG started all last season and has looked awful. The line was bad last year as well but Dart was great enough to make up for it.
It’s a bad situation for a first year starter. Simmons also seems to have a problem with getting way too hyped up early in the game. He’ll mature and settle down as time goes on.

If Simmons can limit the turnovers, we will have a strong team. So far, he hasn't and that's going to cost us.
Defense is good enough to keep us in every game.

They’re a 4 loss team this year .

That’s a very reasonable prediction given what all we lost and how we’ve looked so far. We have the potential to improve but it’s still only potential and unknown just how much we’ll improve.
4 loses isn’t the end of the world for a major rebuilding year.

They’ve also stormed the field against us 3 out of the last 5 times we’ve played there. So it must mean something

Lane is distracted.
He’s on Zillow looking for pads in Gainesville.

Would be shocked if Ole Miss finishes better than 8-4, but that also means they're capable of beating just about anyone on a given Saturday.

Arkansas can have OL Kutas back. Against Georgia State he was the reason for Simon's first interception. Against Kentucky he cost us a TD because of movement on the line.

Simmons is a bottom tier SEC QB right now but other than that they look pretty good.

It’s because most LSU fans are complete idiots. There’s a few reasonable ones that showed up in this thread though.

Rebuilding year but should be competitive. Have enough to be dangerous. Simmons is having some growing pains as expected.
8 to 9 wins

I still think it’s hard to tell how this team will turn out.

There was a lot of boasting by Rebs but we tried to tell you guys he isn’t good.
And Luke Hasz can’t stay healthy.

It's not pretending. They've been playing the SEC championship game since 1992 and Ole Miss has yet to make an appearance. That means they are a nobody football program.

Ark - Should be win
Tulane - Should be win
LSU - Probably 45% win
Washington ST - should be win
@ UGA - 20% win
@ OU - 40% win
SC - 65% win
Citadel - Should be win
UF - 65% win
@ State - 65% win
So really comes down to LSU/ SC/OU/ UF and State.
4-1 is 10-2 and playoffs
3-2 is 9-3 and just miss playoffs
2-3 is 8-4
1-4 is 7-5.
0-5 is 6-6
Most likely is 3-2 or 2-3

I think Ole Miss is probably an 8-4 team. It's what I thought preseason and nothing has happened to change that. I think the starting 11 across both sides are capable of winning 10 games but I think depth is a concern. Simmons is going through some growing pains and the OL is a work in progress to put it lightly. I wouldn't be surprised if Ole Miss dropped a few mid year games but closed strong in November. We are very strong at WR and Kewan Lacy is a dude at RB. Front 7 is pretty good and may end up great towards the end of the year but there are definitely depth concerns there. Secondary is solid in run support but probably average in coverage.
If the OL can gel and stay healthy, there's a possibility of a playoff run but that's a big if at this point. Interior OL is the biggest concern on the team no doubt.
