And UF is a new money team. No one knew it was a legit ball team before the 80s

Just curious, why would Florida even want a guy from a dumpster fire program? Couldn’t they do better?

But you have to understand the mentality of Kiffin.

Oh please do tell us Mr. Gator fan all about his mentality! Please tell us that his Mother, his daughter, now his brother and next year his son all hate Oxford and absolutely love Gainesville. Tell us about the super fantastic NIL you guys have that lost Nico it was so incompetent. Please tell us about the track record of coaches at Florida since 2008 or so and how disfunctional your Athletics Dept is. All things that may just play a huge role in Kiffin even considering that dumpster fire you guys have.

You obviously don't realize the number of players Florida puts out. He would kill it there. and I'm no Gator fan.

Then why aren’t coaches, who were successful at other programs, winning at Florida? Something else is a problem at Florida.

Florida is such a fantastic program that any coach can walk in and win with huge fan support and tons of recruits right at your doorstep.

That’s why they have been so successful recently!

Why would Ole Miss care if Florida hired this Kiffen dude? He’s not even on their staff.

Florida is the new Nebraska. Had some great success for a few years but then turned to mediocrity. No one fears that Kiffin will leave for that shithole of Gainesville.

Florida will never be Nebraska. The state of Florida in itself is a recruiting tool, a cornfield in Nebraska, not so much!

The right coach can and will win at Florida one day it’s just not anytime soon. Florida may actually be a perfect fit for someone like Jiffin and with the portal the way it is he could take the Florida job and take the ole Miss players and anyone he is recruiting with him.

Cannot wait to check back in this thread when y’all hire Golesh or some other scrub. Florida football is a joke. Enjoy your 2-10 season. The CFP field should be released early December. We will be sure to let you know who/when we play.

Let’s say what Ole Miss fans say, along with the rest of the SEC….

“If you don’t take into account Lane Kiffin, what kind of history does Ole Miss have. That’s right, a shite one. They’re just another Kentucky, Vandy, and Arkansas. They’re not a blue blood like Bama, LSU, Tennessee, or Georgia.”

Funny, Ole Miss has a winning record against Florida.

He'd be a fool to turn UF down and he won't if offered.

I disagree here. While I want to agree about Ole miss.... They have a solid foundation of talent and he has built them from the ground up. The issue is that Florida wants it done ASAP. At Ole Miss Kiffin had time to get his program built.

I dont think it would be a good move for Kiffin. I think the Florida State job would be much better.

Loving all of the Ole Miss fans pretending that their program isn't a Vandy tier dumpster fire

Disparaging a team that is going to kick the ever loving shite out of you later this year is not a good look. Calling a program a pretender that leads you 6-4-1 in your own stadium is idiotic.

You made my point for me. Florida State can get the guys to be successful.

What have we done to Florida the last 5 years.......

Florida cant get out of its own way. Why would Lane want to go to that?

Florida’s record the last 4 years:

6-7
6-7
5-7
1-2

18-23

Ole Miss’ record the last 4 years:

10-3
8-5
11-2
3-0

32-10

All time program comparison:

Florida

3 claimed national titles
8 conference titles
.626 winning percentage

Ole Miss

3 claimed national titles
6 conference titles
.551 winning percentage

Ole Miss is making up a lot of ground on the all time winning percentage, every year the difference between the two shrinks..

The two programs sure look pretty similar, except Ole Miss is trending up and Florida is trending down.

I would be focusing on the LSU situation before saying anything about Florida.
