Why are they showing crystal ball trophies?

Good point. That kind of trophy didn't exist back then--and its awarded by the coaches' poll, which Ole Miss has never actually finished first in.

Dominated time travel too. Getting a craystal ball, which didn't exist until 1986, for a title in the 1950s.

Your schools all-time football record. 33 games under .500 and a perennial doormat. I just wanted to point that out.

17-10, just wanted to point that out.

I present to you...Bo Wallace. Face frozen in fear as he watches the hopes of a fanbase tumble from his grasp. Little does he know Nickoe Whitley's dick will be in his ear in a few seconds.

Truly scary that someone not only made, but released that play act video of baby committing homicide/suicide.

Seriously, made me forget what this thread was discussing!

Yeah, but Georgia has actually finished first in the coaches poll once since 1950. Ole Miss has never finished first in the coaches poll in any year

Minnesota was also a dominant football school in the 50s, guess what times change.

Ole Miss's biggest win in the last quarter century was a 1 point victory over Florida that only gets press because it pissed Tebow off and made Florida an unstoppable juggernaut for the rest of the year.

Ah, the '50s, where the men were real men, the women were real women, and the opposing linebackers were real 5'10" 170 lb white boys. What a glorious age of opportunity for Ole Miss.

Did y'all share a national title in '62? I know you came close in the years '58-'63....
