OM has been as stubborn about it as Bama was back then and folks forget that stubbornness towards the investigation and NCAA in general had a lot to do with how hard the hammer struck. Bama learned the hard way that was the wrong way to deal with NCAA and many of the rest of us learned from that example too.

Who says we've been stubborn with the ncaa? You have absolutely no idea how Ole miss has been dealing with the ncaa. No one does other than the Ole miss administration and the ncaa.

I said if. Just stating the obvious. I'm one of those who thought the Means case was nothing and the Cam affair was a lock. So I'm not one to say anything about the NCAA or their intensions. I just know from what has been said Ole Miss could be in for a stump fricking, or not. We shall see.

Archie Manning hired Hugh just to do all this dirty shite and have a scapegoat. Probably why he left the playoff convention.

If that is the case then why did OM release a statement (pretty much the only thing they have released) stating that they "will aggressively investigate and fully cooperate with the NCAA". And now the NCAA is back in Oxford.

Not really. Ole Miss has already acknowledged that the texts, which were taken from that phone or the cloud, are real. The texts themselves are incriminating. So if nothing else is on the phone/cloud other than those texts, then we know there is incriminating evidence on that phone...but I'm sure these texts we've seen are all that exists on that phone.

He's more than a little skittish about this fiasco or he wouldn't be asking for the information in the deposition to be sealed so that the NCAA can't get their dirty claws on the material.
