Ole Miss at Florida - Keys to the game

I think we need better line play. Our secondary needs to continue to improve. We need our OL to do a better job of run blocking and opening lanes.
I haven't watched 1 minute of Florida football this year, so please chime in Gators.

I have more reasons to think we will lose than think we will win. I still think we are very untested. And y'all have a great team.
We have a great offensive coordinator, a very tough QB who runs the offense well and a bunch of weapons at WR. Still unsure about the OL, but they look improved and well coached at least.
Defense has a question marks, especially at DB. Brad White hasn't been overly impressive as DC.
If it's close, I like our chances because of it being at home. But y'all have the best player in college football and we will have to score a lot, so that makes me very uneasy.

We are basically a somewhat balanced offense but have one the nations best backs so we will prob run alot more in big games. Our defense..Is average at best prob.
The key to beating UF will always end up this year at Jaden Baugh. Let him loose, your fricked. Shut him down, we are fricked.

But we had quite a few penalties that made the score of the Auburn game change some. The score does not tell the whole story.
But with your QB..you should pass..almost every down.

Baugh has played two games against ole miss and rushed for like 40 yards and 60 yards however the 40 yard game he won.

To be fair that was under the Napier. You could leave the right side empty and load all 11 guys on the left and that fricking idiot would call a delayed pitch to the left.

That’s fair. I just don’t see how a running back wins a shootout with Chambliss. Is Philo capable of going score for score?

Our offensive line actually played really well against LSU but I just worried that if they blitz a lot then they're going to get to Chambliss, much like LSU in the third quarter.
Our secondary left people wide open in the LSU game and if they had a quarterback who could throw they would have won.
If your quarterback is decent and your wide receivers are as good as you say then I think it could be a long day for the rebels I hate to say it.

If Trinidad stays healthy, you guys will dig-walk them. Florida’s defense is awful.

Brad White, the former UK DC, is our DC. Like most SEC teams we run a base nickel. We have good LB's, a good edge but our CB's are hot and cold and our interior DL still has a lot of question marks. We seem to play better when we bring pressure, but White seems to prefer to play conservative. I have no doubt y'all will score against us.

He was our 2/3 back in 2024.
We didn't run it much last year, he only got 15 carries.

So we scored 44 and it was not a close game..hrm..so maybe, just maybe we can score more if not trying to run out the clock.
