Football goes to LSU

Baseball is close. Not running away either way

Basketball hands down Ole Miss.

So, MEH,,,,

I think LSU’s football facilities are awkward, with OPs building being so far from the stadium, but haven’t seen the whole setup where they eat and stay.

I’ve only partially visited LSU…the schools I’ve seen more of are Georgia, Florida, Arkansas, Ole Miss, and to some extent Auburn. Ole Miss is a small school compared, definitely seems to have a smaller athletic department operating budget than the others.

I remember seeing the student section waving confederate flags back in the JPS days. Albeit I was probably only around 9-10 years old.

Men

#5 Baseball
#1 Swimming

#2 Golf
NA Basketball (but we now have a new coach)

Women's
#5 Basketball - #1 Seed

Title says best athletic department, then the post says "but it's got to be only these sports because that's how my school can win." Gay

You proved me wrong, ole miss is having a better year than LSU athletically thus far. It’s very impressive. Things can easily change by the end of the summer however.

Congrats to RebelBearShark fans everywhere. You’ve had a good athletic program in the 2024-25 academic year. Now, let’s look at past seasons.

Yeah, now that Texas is in the conference things change.

For decades it was UF in SEC for the all sports title. Still the only school nationally to finish in top 10 of Directors Cup (or its predecessors) since 1983. Although who knows with Stricklin running things, we've slowly gone downhill under his leadership.

Yea, but if you compare the Otis Hawkins Center at UF to the FedEx Student-Athlete Academic Support Center at Ole Miss you see where NIL player funding isn’t the whole picture.

Hell, check out Arkansas’ Jerry and Gene Jones Student Athlete Success Center.
