I didn't mean to imply you started it. I'm just saying that in a matter of a few days, 2 different threads about Ole Miss staff going to Alabama shocks me (in a good way, although I most definitely want them here and could not see either leaving)

Why would Bama take a chance on a young up and comer (youngest in the conference) when they can hire someone from the top of the profession ? OP is stupid.

Alabama is going to hire Ossie Newsome. He has often spoken about wanting to come back home, has 2 superbowl rings and is currently 57. Its the perfect time for him.

Perfect for him but not Bama. They are lacking in several sports other than football. Bjork would have a big impact on sports like baseball & other sports.

I would think the AD at Bama has very little input on the football program other than signing the check.
But I'm really curious why a UK fan has so much interest in Ross Bjork.

only football really matters at Alabama. its great when other programs are doing well, but football is what truly counts.
