Ole Miss will deliver Georgia's second loss, as predicted pre-season when we all saw Bama, TX, OM on the schedule, all on the road, all highly regarded teams. Lots of 10-2 predictions, and this would be the 2.

I have no confidence at all that UGA beats Ole Miss in Oxford. I sure hope we do, but I have no confidence in that hope.

Lane Kiffen is a mastermind and Dart is a prodigy.

I don't see a path forward for victory against Ole Miss.

It's gonna be a very wet game. Forecast is looking like rain all damn day. I have zero idea what to even expect from this one.

Typically rain puts a bit of a damper on home field advantage because fans tend to be slightly less enthusiastic when its raining. That said UGA played someone at home a couple of years ago, I forget who it was, and it was raining to beat the band and that crowd fed off that bad weather. I am not overly familiar with Dart but seems like he is very capable of running the ball....if so that is a pretty big advantage for Ole Miss no matter the weather but even more of one in sloppy conditions. UGA is going to have their hands full. That said Texas and Austin. If Smart and company can convince UGA that this game is as big and the show up in the same manner its a pretty easy win. I doubt they convince them of that considering the blow out last season.

Mississippi won't beat UGA. Kiffin usually shits his pants in these types of games.

No idea on the Georgia secondary. I assume they are good. Don’t think that’s as big a deal though as the ole miss pass catchers are really good. It all comes down to does Georgia pressure dart. Pass protection has been bad in SEC play up until the last two games. When they protect him he’s really good. When he doesn’t have protection it’s just not as sharp and the offense bogs down. Now he’s still not really turning it over even with bad pass pro and the defense can keep them in games but I think the offense has to click to beat Georgia. So basically tell me who wins the line of scrimmage between ole miss o line and Georgia d line and that’s who wins the game. That’s why I lean Georgia winning.

He’s listed as doubtful on the injury report if you want to believe kiffin. I don’t believe that and think he plays.

Good analysis, and sometimes the answer is as simple as, “keep the main thing the main thing”.

It’s a line of scrimmage league after all.

that's my take as well...if they are able to choke out or run game and force us into passing downs often it'll be trouble for the Rebs.

bullshite, we haven't run on anyone. Throw it 50 times. Your best players are our QB and our WR/TEs. Run just enough to make them honor the run and not sell out to the pass. No point in trying to run when we can't do it successfully consistently.

A capable OC/play caller could help out with creative play calling to help counter act the lack of run game. Havent seen much of it yet from OM

I agree 1000%. If we run inside zone on short yardage again I may lose my mind in the stadium Saturday. But our O line has been banged up bad. Last week was the healthiest it has been since week 4. If we get our LT back this week, maybe we can create some push up front, but I'll believe it when I see it. I just don't think we are good up front run blocking.

We aren’t. So why not utilize short passing game more?

Schumann, our DC, has been giving lots of cushion at the line this year. Maybe that changes on a soggy field. Also our DB’s have had bad games tackling and with pursuit angles.

I have a feeling the short pass / screen game would be an effective alternative to a stagnant run game for OM

We have the last 6 quarters and it creates the wide open deep stuff. I’m mind blown as well why we didn’t in SEC play before then.

If we were healthy, I would give it a chance against Georgia. Report today has 26 players on the iffy to play list. That includes Harris and Watkins. Without them playing, we don't have a chance.

Garrison has been crap as an OL coach, and Weis Jr has got to go. Lane needs to make some staff changes on the offensive side. Our defense has played really well, so keep everyone on that side.

Y’all want Stacy Searles? We’re growing tired of his second tour in UGA’s staff. Starting to smell like Richt’s later years in some parts over here
