IMO it is way too simple for a spread offense. You guys run the same variation of about 6-8 plays. Just out of different sets. Just watched your game against AU and I came away unimpressed with the simplification of the offense. For being so simple, you guys sure don't execute worth a shite for the most part.

We are in a state of dysfunction in pretty much facet. We did this midseason last year on O. Just kind of disappear, it's perplexing.

So does Texas A&M.

If you could just carry on this dysfunction until after the Arkansas game, that would be great.

Read my last sentence, champ.

If you can execute at a high level, all is well.

I mean it is what it is right now.

Not much more to really say. A lot of us got really pumped after starting 3-0. (Again 2 years ago 2-10 and some could say worst SEC team in a while) So I've taken a step back cooled my expectations and I'm just along for the ride right now.

But on O I just don't think Bo is the QB I had hoped he was gonna be. He can have a flash of greatness here or there but can't give it to you every play.

So I guess we will see

Even if we don't win against A&M, their defense is bad enough I think we can semi-bounce back confidence wise. Because LSU is coming and that's going to be nuts thanks Obama

Our O-line is struggling right now and we have no power run game. Bo used to be the power run game but if we want to have a shot to win any more games, he has to stay healthy and we can't risk him breaking anything.

That's all you need when JFF is at QB.

Their playcalling sucks and they can't run the ball. Those were my observations when they played us at least. All of their pass plays seem to be horizontal or deep balls. No slants or curls or outs or anything to try and exploit matchups that favor them. Going into shotgun on 4th and a foot is just fricking dumb as shite too. They need to teach their QBs to take a snap from under center even if they only need to do it once or twice per game.

So...... pretty much like every other spread offense.

Which is fine if you can execute the plays being called. If not, might want to mix it up more. JMO

So your solution for a team that is struggling to execute 6-8 plays is to add more plays.

Okay.

I guess keep trying to execute those same plays and keep failing then. Sounds like a plan.

I <3 your threads

but to add to the convo: Yes, OM needs to get better at executing the simple things if they want to improve. If you can't complete a simple out route or get 2-3 yards on a run between the tackles you will struggle.

I echo this sentiment.

Lewis has lost control of Ole Miss' offense.
