How many times has Ole Miss won against the Tide over the history of this Deep South conflict?

Should have been LSU/Auburn.
More history with the LSU/Auburn rivalry. ESPN will hype that for prime time. Quite honestly, two bigger names, of late, in college football also. No offense intended.

I think you're over compensating your confidence today. It's okay to be a little nervous about it. You won't be judged here.

Honestly? Because it's still Mississippi State and more people would watch LSU/Auburn.
Bingo.

It strikes me as extremely important to Ole Miss and their future. If they take a beat down they will fade from this recent run of relevance. Hold their own or win and it might move them on to the next step.

No doubt about it. I don't see this being a traditional Bama blowout. We will compete. Win? Maybe, maybe not.

Yes. I have been to a lot of Ole Miss - Alabama games. Alabama is always a concern for me. Veterans Memorial Stadium is still vivid to me (almost) 25 years later.
If you're talking about the game in Jackson where we were up 21-0 before getting blown out, that is more than 25 years ago.

Dude you remembered their names long enough to refer to them in a post an entire year later.

Damn. Just lol'd when I saw that UF/UT was the 11am SEC Network game. That's like the JP Sports equivalent game.
UT & UF are in EST zoines and game will be on at 12 noon hereabouts...but thanks for your concern...see ya in the Swamp soon....where dreams will die.

The SEC Network should be called the SEC EAST network.

Yeah, but their names were forgotten for many moons after the game.
