Why would A&M agree to come to Baton Rouge every year without a return trip?

You haven't been around many full bird Colonels, have you?

The best ones are the ones who actually behave like normal people instead of pseudo-intellectual fart-sniffers.

Thank you. Interesting, never knew the history of A&M. I just figured they were always a larger school, even when they were all male.

Not at all. They even went to Waco to find Baylor girls to take to games as dates. Desperate times.

Que up the lame sheep jokes.

As a kid it seemed like we opened every season with A&M and Rice.

So what you are saying is LSU has historically had the upper hand and still only has a 60% win rate?

That is affirmative.

The only affirmative I know is that LSU is 11th in the all-time AP poll while Texas A&M is #21. Thanks for playing.

1965 is when Rudder made the changes, not 1970.

Takes a few years for changes that dramatic to have an effect. It’s not like you make that decision and suddenly you are a completlely different place.

Because if it was a home and home, the series would favor A&M, and LSU would be chicken shits and back out of the contract once dominance was established. Low and behold...

. I couldn't give two fricks what happened 60 70 80 90 or 100 years ago when it domes to football.

Do you give a frick what happened 20 years ago, like A&M’s last conference title?

They struck lighting with Vince Young, just like Auburn with Cam. Otherwise not a whole lot in 50 years

These statements are so retarded. Aggies struck gold with Manziel. Otherwise, they don’t win their other Super Bowl in Tuscaloosa.

Didn’t do much in 50 years? Auburn played in the 2013 title, had an undefeated season in ‘04, and another one under Terry Bowden. They also had a nice little win streak over Bama under Tubs, and Pat Dye had some good teams.

Texas played for a title in ‘09, had a team in ‘08 that was every bit as good. Heisman winner in ‘98. A team in ‘83 that was on the cusp of a title.

I’m not saying these programs are world beaters, but to suggest they are average outside of VY or Cam is pretty dumb.

Naw, Spurs got the W tonight. I’m okay.

Just hate the second statement specifically. The goal of a coach is to recruit the best players. Then when they win, people come out with BS like, ‘you only won because you had _____.’

Regardless of the reason for it ending 25 years ago, I'm glad the series has returned to a home and home every year. It has all the makings of a great matchup going forward.

It was a big deal when I was young, and I think it's a good thing that it's back. Honestly, Texas probably hates that. When we beat them 2 years in a row it will get under their skin that much more that they are not relevant.
