Obviously you don’t quite understand what it takes to get OU to leave early not only do we have to pay 85 million we also would get no payment from tv rights from any conference because they own it since it doesn’t end till 2025. So it’s a little more than the 85 million or whatever the total people keep saying it would be almost 200 million in lost revenue…… so how ever much money way you think OU has which is more than 98 percent of college football …. No school including A@M will give up money for three seasons. They are negotiating it I am assure and when we come your daddy will put your right back in your place like we have done for decades.

Sounds like you're trying to claim a natty off of a spring game attendance number but surely thats not correct

Exactly I find it fricking hilarious some of you OU fans are worried about how someone is going to treat you in a road game….. I guess you have never been to LSU ….. I hate to break it to ya but they are not going to be your buddy lol so give up that thought right now ….. Bama UGA maybe they are nicer bunch. Again what someone says on a troll board and yea this is a troll board look at almost every subject it’s always about how your program is so much better than theirs .

We certainly had a lot more to do here in OKC back when we only averaged 30K for the spring game...that's for sure.

Our AD wouldve claimed that crowd at 40k

Good grief this is the worst take I have seen. "There's nothing to do in Oklahoma, there's so much stuff to do here in ______." Y'all will find every excuse in the book for not showing up for your team. Cool flex bro, you couldn't be bothered to show up to a football game because there are other things that you'd rather be doing. Gold star

I find all these takes funny
First, Mojo creates a troll post I swear he belongs to another team and trolls OU here
Second, all the “there is so much to do so didn’t go” posts. Lets take uscw. Their weather is perfect every day so its easier to go to game knowing you can go to beach prior or next day. You can do other stuff 364 days so that excuse is hollow.
OKC is right up the road and lots to do. The Arts Festival was ongoing (nationally respected/attended). There was threats of tornado/bad weather. It was windy as shite. Many other activities. But fans came out. This was more about support for Brent and his new culture as well. It means nothing about how we’ll do, Brent will have to prove things on the field. The other draw was Baker getting his statue. And there were over 250 OU player alumni there. It was a great way to start off the new staff.
It doesn’t make our fans better. It just shows they came out in support of all the above.

Gotta show up now for the guaranteed win. Without Riley, y'all ain't shite

You can’t be this stupid you think Clemson just all of the sudden got better n 2014 because Swinney gained knowledge of coaching after being there for 5 years plus ? Or could it be that Venables showed up and dominated college football on defense? Bama should know he basically stoles two n s because he outcoached Bama with inferior players….. what do you think is going to happen when he’s the head coach? The facts are this he is the closest coach to Saban. He runs a clean and family driven football team and almost every recruit says they are wowed when talking to him….. back to Riley he basically was handed A NC a type of team with multiple 1st round players and after that first season we got gradually worse on offense . Riley is a players coach who can recruit and if he gets enough of those recruits he’s going to win big: He doesnt develope players very well abs runs a crappy strength and conditioning program. Venables is a developmental coach on the field and off. You won’t see OU have the troubles that Riley had with off the field player issues….
Just remember what you said and I will be on the board telling all you people who think he’s going to flop because he’s never been a head coach before ….. guess OU Ava’s never done that either everyone of our great coaches were first time head coaches …. And why would you want to hire a coach from another school anyhow ? If they are winning NCs they are not leaving anyhow so why not go after the best assistant by far.! Your lucky he didn’t pick Auburn three years ago….

No animosity against OU. However, the fact that you are leaving Oklahoma State in a bad spot, is bad enough but it is the low rent orange whiners you are bringing with you.

This is irony, you guys didn't mind leaving all of the other Texas schools behind. If it wasn't for Boren not wanting to leave Okie Lite behind 12 years ago we'd already be IN the SEC when they invited us then. It is not OU's job to worry about Okie Lite, just as it was not A&M's job to worry about Texass, TTech, Baylor, and TCU.

Okie Lite will be just fine. That have been kicking butt and taking names here lately.

Ironically that was part of our then-president David Boren's reasoning for turning down the SEC offer back then. OU and OSU were a "package" and the SEC didn't want OSU. The weird flex he was doing with the PAC12 turned out to be leverage for a TV contract. So glad that a-hole is gone.
