We did. 29-0. It was a wet and foggy evening at Kyle Field.

well, 26 years is more like 1997–98.

And it referred to the closing spread… Maybe the spread you are talking about wasn't the final spread when the game kicked off

He should. His ceiling is definitely DC, but I'm fine with him staying there for 20 years.

OU is on their way to becoming another Miss St or Arkansas.
It’s a shame they let Texas drag them into joining. They’re better off in the Big 10 or Big 12.

If a kid was good enough to go to OU then he was good enough to go to most other SEC schools. No kids or their families from down here want to go to Oklahoma. Maybe choose 1 sport outside of football and be good at just that.

Au contraire. The OU fan base is stocked with jerks. Try listening to the radio while in Tulsa. There are some decent schools within a couple of hours drive. Oklahoma State is 63 miles from Tulsa, TU has had its moments, Fayetteville is about 116 miles from Tulsa and Norman is in that range. The hosts and OU fans that call in are as obnoxious as they come, cannot say a good word about any other school.

Maybe getting hammered every other week will help push them off their high horses.

Oklahoma deserves a sizable humbling. They’ve been a major beneficiary of a laughable conference for 20+ years.

I'd have a comeback if I was convinced you're wrong. I didn't like the rushed, 'safe' hire.
