It is hard to find a truly high stakes "Game of the Century" type matchup in the series
You're commenting on this game (one that has absolutely nothing to do with your school) on multiple threads.

Won't happen. The game is a huge tourist attraction for Dallas. Just too much money being spent in Dallas.

Add 10,000 to 15,000 seats and have it in Shreveport at Independence stadium.
They’ve already added about 20,000 seats in the last 20 years.

They shouldn't move it. There are few enough college traditions as it is.
This one happens to work financially, since the smaller number of tickets available to season ticket holders of the respective schools give donors an incentive to move up the ladder to ensure that they make the cut for tickets to this game.
The fair also adds a lot to the game. Even if the teams suck, the game is an event because of the setting. If it was home and home, it would only be must watch TV when both teams are playing well.

No. Never.
It is a Tradition Rich game in the most unique setting in sport. Stadium split at the 50 yard line, with each team getting half the tickets, equidistant between the UT and OU campuses, the second week in October, at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, in the middle of the State Fair.
But, there are never any moral victories, like, “… oh well, we lost the game, but we still won the conference…”
I agree, nothing compares to winning the “Game of the Century”.
Except, maybe, winning it twice.

It is hard to find a truly high stakes "Game of the Century" type matchup in the series like you have seen with OU/Nebraska, Florida/Florida State or even Ohio State Michigan.
