Oklahoma and Texas fans, would you ever consider moving the football game out of Dallas?

Just curious to get your take on it since this and the Fla/Ga game are the only power 5 neutral site games. TIA

Both teams are afraid to play at the other’s stadium. They’re used to playing in visiting stadiums that max out at 70k.

Ratings for Ou/Tx have been dogshit for over a decade and Texas’ clown of an AD honestly believes they should get a permanent 2:30 slot

Keep it at the State Fair until the stadium falls down, then go H&H.

Heck no. It's a great set up. And who cares if the facilities inside are grungy. You focus on the game and piss if you have to.

Aggie wouldn't understand a truly important neutral rivalry game so I don't expect you to understand.
I realize you may be an but LSU fan but at this point I can't really tell the difference anyway

Texas A&M /Arkansas is in Jerry's World but that probably ends after 2024 when the contract expires.

I never understood the Texas thinking on that game. If you are gonna battle with a skunk why invite him into your living room to do it?

Florida and Georgia need to do a three year rotation. Sucks that we never get to see Florida in Sanford or UGA visit the swamp.

Hope not. Nothing beats a fletcher's cornydog and beer in a wax cup at 8:15 a.m.

The Texas-Oklahoma game will be played wherever Bama says it will.
I would guess it will rotate between Uniontown,Alabama and Belmont, Nc.

So not as a participant but as a guy descending from generations of Sooners and with a Longhorn wife and lots of Longhorn in-laws, it seems inconceivable.

The actual game is kind of beside the point. It is strangely not that important of a matchup. Even when the Longhorns were competitive under Mack Brown they got blown out routinely.

It is sometimes a good game for the underdog. I remember hapless John Blake somehow getting a win and I remember hapless Charlie Strong somehow getting a win.

But the event itself is pure awesomeness. My Dad taught me that the OU Texas game is when the summer really breaks in Texas and the State Fair is in high gear and everything just seems alright in the world.

Don't mess up one of the good things in college football. Definitely don't move it to Jerryworld.

I have a tough time understanding the appeal of neutral site games. Never liked the opening week games in Atlanta or Dallas and am glad Bama/AU moved on campus. There is nothing better than hosting a big time opponent or visiting a tradition rich campus. How many Texas and OU or Florida/GA fans have never seen each others campuses?
