He's just not hitting his spots right now, but he's the kind of pitcher that is hard to deal with if he gets in a rhythm.

Think OU is just seeing grapefruits at this point, but I’ll say a few things:
1) a couple of those were hanging offspeed pitches. Just not good pitches
2) Fay has often struggled early and then settled in. Hopefully he does this and can still get us through 6 innings only giving up 2-3 more runs.
3) we don’t have a deep pen, so have to let Fay struggle, even if it means we sacrifice him to try to save something for game 2. Can’t go all out in this one IMO.
