Oklahoma has a much better chance of becoming the next Nebraska than Alabama. You've feasted on a depleted league that has been second tier for over a decade.

It's going to be hard to compete for NIL deals with a Casino-based economy and combined pupulation centers totaling just over a million.

You think winning a title is EASIER in the SEC than in the BigXII??
Because nobody under the age of 17 was alive the last time either of you did THAT.

You're smoking crack if you think Oklahoma is going to turn into Nebraska, specifically if you think they're going to lose the Dallas pipeline for recruiting. We're a few hours from Dallas. We've already seen recruiting gains in areas We didn't have a foothold in before, simply because we joined the SEC.

All A&M has to recruit is money. They don't have a winning culture, a winning history and they sure as hell don't have a coaching staff to develop. Get ready!!! A storm is coming and it's not looking good for the Aggies.

I’m not sure OU having a history of winning years ago makes much difference in the new NIL era. The bad thing for OU is that they don’t have any money and have a bad coaching staff. Venables is an awful head coach. And Norman is a small and boring town. My nephew goes to OU on a full academic scholarship (only reason he’s there to be honest), so I’ve been there a few times with his parents to visit. I was not impressed with the town or the stadium. The state of Oklahoma is an armpit. Full of poor, stupid, meth heads.

I think OU and Texass will be competitive in SEC football. But I do not expect to see either one win the SEC title in 2024.

Are you guys fricken retarded? I work in the oil field. OU has a sh*t ton of money lying around. Anyone watching recruiting knows this. It’s amazing how people haven’t noticed how OU has been utilizing the NIL.

The league really fricked up adding Texas and OU
CFB conferences suck these days. SEC was better off before any of this expansion madness, though they wouldn't have the money they do now.

Funny gator fans talking shite they have the oldest stadium probably in the sec . Meanwhile our softball teams and football teams are bankrolled from nil…. Everyone gets an equal cut . OU has twice the revenue the gators do…

Fair enough. Only trolls are claiming we’ll be in SEC Championship next year. We’re hoping to win the Big 12 after a long drought. Being competitive in the SEC in year one, would be good enough for me. From what I’ve seen, I think we are there.

He doesn't own the oilpatch. So probably shouldn't be talking about how rich OU is and NIL.

The League really screwed over Missouri and A&M by bringing in Texas and Oklahoma. Now both of you schools will just get pushed from middle tier to bottom feeders.

Haha no. If anything poor arse OU is facing Nebraska’s future as they get outbid for talent on the recruiting trail.

"Traditional powers"? Tell us again how many Big 12 titles you won? In that sad sack conference? How long ago was your last one ? Last time the SEC saw Ok. on the field they gave up 7 TD's. In the first half.
