You got a better idea?

Rivalries are what make college football great.

Oh I understand the results are similar. And tbh I don’t think we have done anything to be considered Bama’s rival recently. Which is why I moved Florida to the West. I Will say that it seems like the Alabama program, and certainly Nick Saban, seems to care wat more about LSU than UT, but obviously that is a recent thing
TSIO/DSOR/WLCP ain't going anywhere, UA/AU/UT/UGA/UF won't allow it.

You ain't getting/running away from Bama that easy. And neither the SEC nor AU can afford to give up the Iron bowl. And by hook or crook ole JP is gonna Sand Mountain the Vols back in the game big time. And neither UT nor UA is letting the real Bama rivalry go. So it stays as is. Or AU goes to the east and Mizzou to the west and the league could go to 9 SEC games with two yearly opponents and one rotating game so both UT and AU can play Bama.

That’s the problem. We are allowing these “rivalries” to dictate the entire scheduling system. I’m trying to make it fair and its not like the West isn’t 10 times better than the East right now anyway. It has needed change for a while

My divisions didn’t get rid of any of those rivalry games.... it’s like you didn’t even read the post

Check the East Vs West head to head record from last season and get back to me

I would bet that most AU and UT fans wouldn't want to change it. You never hear AU or UT fans complain about it.
This.
Also, Bama has pretty much been beating the shite out of everyone for the better part of a decade. I mean, LSU fans love to talk about how UT has been terrible, which is very true, but that same LSU program hasn’t beaten Bama in, what, 8 annums?

Idiot. You know I made an error and left off the "neither"

Those head to head records are a combined result of the scheduling and the West having a down year with Auburn and Arkansas really struggling compared to their usual form last year
Posted on 3/4/19 at 2:00 pm to Terrific Tales
I think it would be great if everyone just had 4 rivals they played every year and rotate the rest. I would pick Georgia, Tennessee, Auburn and LSU. That may not be fair, so you would probably need a committee to make sure someone didn't always have an easier road than others.

That wasn’t why he laughed. He was laughing at exactly what I’m laughing at

That actually makes a lot of sense. Not sure who our 4 would be but probably UF, State, Ole Miss, and Akansas for the boot battle. Idk if that’s fair though because I don’t know what other team’s 4 would be

this shitty idea didn't get any traction when you posted it in the other thread, so you had to start a new one about it?
Take the hint guy

Of course it was. He highlighted the statement with the obviously omitted word.

Why not let the 6 crybaby schools have their permanent rivalries and the other 8 schools rotate?
Posted on 3/4/19 at 2:27 pm to Terrific Tales
Why would you toss out Florida vs Georgia...easily the best experience in the SEC
