Just hire Venables and be done with it. There's not a better fit for SCar in the entire assistant coaching ranks.

I had a very hard time to see that Coastal Carolina HC isn't the top priority! I had to google to get his name and it's Jamey Chadwell. He is the one I am talking about. You better not blow it! This guy is the next up coming HC. Hope you get him! I know the risk is high for no experience in the SEC as a coach of the offense. This is what I was worried about Drinkwitz but he seems to be getting along fine. Again good luck finding the right HC for your school.

Drink was a HC. Beamer isn’t. No SEC school should hire a guy with no HC experience unless it’s a slam dunk. Why is that confusing?

Will Urban's wife even let him coach again? Too stressful, and his health has been an issue. As much as he may want to do so, I'm not sure the family is going to allow it. Especially now that they are home in Ohio
