It’s Napier or Beamer unless something changes.

Whoever Little USC hires, he will be there only until something better comes up. Beamer would want VT for his goal and Napier wants to follow Saban at Alabama.
Hire Pruitt. No one else will hire him away from you.

I think Texas firing Herman this year would be a mistake

It would be a colossal mistake. Herman should get another year. His start hasn't been all that different from Mack Brown's. There's no guarantee that anyone else would do any better than he would next year. Urban ain't coming.

If you want an under the radar guy and a guy that knows offense and is a real up and comer, I've got a name for you that nobody has mentioned. You can laugh, but if you're going to roll the dice, make it worth it if you roll a 7. The guy is Sean Lewis, head coach at Kent State. He's in year 3 of a rebuilding project and has them 3-0 and #2 in the country in total offense behind UCF. Ahead of Alabama, Ole Miss, Florida, and all the other big boys in offense.
