LSU was not relevant recently until Saban. Before that I can promise you everyone laughed at LSU! During that time Alabama was winning SEC championships, multiple times.

I am young and have been watching CFB closely for about a decade. The past decade, aside from 2 years, Bama has been a mediocre college football team. Outside of 2008 and 2009, y'all had a good defense in 2005 but that was about it.
