I only question the firing because it is not easy to reach Stoops' highs here.
We hadnt won 10 games since the 70s. Thats not easy most places, even less so at UK. Will Stein be good? Maybe. If he gets us bowl eligible again thats really all I ask but I will be interested to see if he is able to match Stoops' best seasons
I suspect we won't be as physical as we were under Stoops (and thats unfortunate) but maybe Stein's got something planned idk. Shame football is a year away

Definitely. NIL killed what he had. Still, even his new low didn't reach Joker level drop off which is kinda impressive given i think he lost some pf his passion after the whole A&M deal.
Im interested to see how the new hire goes. Hopefully he is able to do better. Program is gonna change alot though

A Louisville guy with no HC experience and minimal OC experience as the HC at Kentucky. Oof. This is the worst hire for SEC teams this offseason.
